Museum Night Amsterdam 2026

One night a year, in early November, Amsterdam's museums stay open until the small hours. During Museum Night Amsterdam (N8), one ticket gets you into more than 65 museums and special venues, with music, performances and workshops. A completely different way to experience the city.

What can you expect during Museum Night?

• One ticket: Your wristband gives access to all participating museums, from the Rijksmuseum to small hidden gems.
• More than looking: Music, performances, workshops and exhibitions created for this night.
• Routes: Pick a route by neighbourhood or theme, for example along the canals or through Noord.
• Running route: Feeling sporty? There is also a route to run past the museums.
• Return visit: Your wristband lets you visit one of the museums once more for free until the end of the year.

Practical information

The museums are open from 19:00 to 02:00. Museum Night often sells out, so buy your ticket in good time. The Museumkaart and the I Amsterdam City Card are not valid on this night.
