Prinsengracht Concert 2026

A free traditional classical music concert held on Prinsengracht in Amsterdam every year in August since 1981. The open air concert is held on a temporary built stage directly on the canal’s water in front of the Hotel Pulitzer.

Spectators traditionally arrive on their boats with wine and snacks. There is a unique romantic atmosphere, especially after the fall of the darkness.

Traditionally the concert is closed with a rendition of one of the city's anthems, "Aan de Amsterdamse grachten".
