De Parade 2027

De Parade is a travelling theatre festival that pitches its tents every summer in the Martin Luther Kingpark on the Amstel in Amsterdam.

• What: a festival site full of colourful tents and circus wagons, where you choose from short performances of theatre, dance, music, cabaret and circus.
• How long: the festival lasts around seventeen days, from late July to early August.
• Atmosphere: the site resembles an old-fashioned funfair, with food stalls, bars and a lively buzz until late in the evening.
• For children: during the day there is a special children's programme, the Kinderparade.
• On tour: besides Amsterdam, De Parade also visits Rotterdam, The Hague and Utrecht.
• Tickets: tickets are needed for the performances; it is best to buy them in advance via the festival website.
